Day 1, Monday, November 16

Depart Wal Mart, New Boston, Ohio @ 5:45am. sharp, Pick up in Ashland, KY @ Midtown Shopping Center @ 6:20am.
Today we will travel to Myrtle Beach for a spectacular time where we will see fantastic shows, shopping and enjoy some wonderful food! Breakfast (on your own) McDonald's, Hurricane, WV. Lunch (on your own) fast food. On arrival to Myrtle Beach, we check into our home for 4 nights, the Island Vista Resort, 6000 N. Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC, 843-449-6406.
Your tagged luggage will be delivered to your room.
Our resort is a family-owned/operated oasis. The "Crown Jewel" of the Golden Mile. Island Vista is located on a secluded stretch of the Golden Mile, where warm inviting hospitality meets laidback luxury. The resort features 1-3 Bedroom Oceanfront Suites with balcony, Living/Dining area, Full kitchen, a washer/dryer, Three Pools, Two Hot Tub Spas and a Splash Pool, Waterfall and a Lazy River Pool plus a Fitness Center, (free wifi, Coffee & Coffeemakers, Hair Dryer, Iron & Board).
After our day traveling, we will enjoy a wonderful dinner (included) in The Cypress Room in our hotel. If weather permits, you can enjoy a walk on the beach.



Day 2, Tuesday, November 17

Breakfast (included) order from the menu in the award-winning oceanfront restaurant, the Cypress Room at our resort. Today, we will visit The Christmas Mouse Store. Located along the Intracoastal Waterway in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, the Christmas Mouse has been an anchor tenant at Barefoot Landing for thirty years. This store sets itself apart with a staircase that leads to a beautifully decorated tree with gold ornaments accented with Swarovski crystals. It also carries a large selection of personalized ornaments and plenty of nautical ornaments for those vacationing in the Grand Strand.
Lunch (on your own) at Barefoot Landing and wonderful shopping. Choices for lunch are Auntie Anne's Pretzels, Blueberry's Grill, Bully's Pub & Grill, Café De Paris, Flying Fish Public Mkt. & Grill, Lucy Buffett's LULU'S and many others.
This afternoon, we enjoy Alabama Theatre's award-winning production,
"The South's Grandest Christmas Show". Voted the #1 Christmas Show in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach for 2023. This show brings an enchanting blend of talent, breathtaking scenery, and magical special effects to the Grand Strand, delivering an unforgettable holiday musical experience that will immerse you in the spirit of the season!
This evening, dinner (included) at the Carolina Roadhouse Restaurant, a popular American restaurant, featuring scratch-made comfort food. It features a rustic, spacious interior with palm trees and offers a diverse menu.
This evening, we enjoy Legends in Concert "Holiday Show". Legends is known as the pioneer of live tribute shows. The Holiday Show includes Elvis, and two other entertainers not announced
as of now. We return to the resort after the show.



Day 3, Wednesday, November 18

Breakfast (included) in the Cypress Room at our resort. We will make a visit to the 200-foot Sky Wheel for anyone that would like to take a ride (cost not included).
Next, we will visit the Coastal Mall for those that want to shop. The Mall is an indoor mall. Lunch (on your own) at the mall. For those that do not want to go to the mall, you can have time for the beach. The Cypress Room has a lunch menu (on your own). If you are a golfer, they have golf packages for your golfing pleasure (cost not included). We return to the resort to freshen up and we will leave at 3:45pm. for dinner and show.
We have dinner (included) at the world-famous Original Benjamin's Calabash Seafood Buffet. The restaurant is an award-winning Original Landmark on the Grand Strand, introduced the Calabash style cooking to Myrtle Beach in 1986. They have a Master Shipwright, Jimmy Frost, has either built or restored all the models that you will see here. Unlike models most of us are used to, Jimmy handcrafts his models and prefers them to be on a large scale like Queen Elizabeth11 on display.
This evening's show is at the Broadway Theatre where the theatre will be transformed into a mesmerizing winter wonderland, captivating audiences with a blend of breathtaking acrobatics and the heartwarming joy of the Christmas season. Le Grande Cirque "Winter in the Air" Cirque-Style spectacular will be an unforgettable experience, combining the thrill of high-flying acrobatics with the enchanting beauty of Winter's Magic! Featuring Stars from "America's Got Talent" and a cast of internationally acclaimed acrobats and performers, each scene is crafted to inspire awe and bring the spirit of the holidays to life! We return to our resort to get ready for our final day of excitement!



Day 4, Thursday, November 19

Breakfast (included) in the Cypress Room at our resort. After breakfast, we travel to Broadway at The Beach; Myrtle Beach's Premier Shopping, Dining & Entertainment Complex.
You may enjoy lunch (on your own) and time for shopping. Lunch choices are Paula Deen's Family Kitchen, Hard Rock Café, Margaritaville, Senior Frogs, Wet Willies, Wahlburgers, Joe's Crab Shack, Captain George's Seafood, American Tap House, Sweet Caroline's Barbecue and more.
This afternoon, we go to the Legacy Theatre featuring Greg Rowles, longtime musician and building namesake, which opened in April 2024. After entertaining for more than 20 years at the Alabama Theatre, he is now fulfilling a once-in-a-lifetime dream of having his own theatre. Experience an unforgettable night of 100% live music, laughs, and heartfelt moments at Myrtle Beach's most talked-about show! Audience song requests at every performance is one-of-a-kind!
This evening, dinner (included) at a Myrtle Beach landmark tradition, the Chesapeake House.
Serving the area since 1971 and is family owned. From the scenic waterfront views, homemade salad dressing, Uncle Bill's famous fish stew, and their world-famous cinnamon rolls made fresh daily in their bakery, your evening will be one to remember!
After dinner, we have our final show at the Carolina Opry's "The Christmas Show of The South", will open its 41st season of enchanting holiday performances that include the renowned All That! Clogging Group, seen on NBC's America's Got Talent and 35 of the nation's most talented vocalists and musicians all accompanied by the Calvin Gilmore orchestra, led by Kevin Hughes with the Margaret Rice dancers in the holiday-embellished Carolina Opry Theater. What a way to end our time in Myrtle Beach! We return to the resort for our final night.



Day 5, Friday, November 20

Breakfast (included) in the Cypress Room at our resort. All too soon we have to say goodbye to the beach and all we have enjoyed. Luggage outside your door by 7:30am., depart at 8:30am.
We travel home with wonderful memories of the shows and all that we have seen to kick off the Christmas season. Late lunch (on your own) at Cracker Barrel, Beckley, WV.



ETA Ashland, KY 8:00pm., New Boston, OH 9:00pm.
